My name is Elizabeth Vovk, and I am one of the dedicated photographers at Noah's Ark Photography, serving the vibrant communities of the Twin Cities and the Iron Range in Minnesota. Not only do I capture beautiful moments behind the lens, but I also handle the meticulous editing, album creation, and wall art design for all of our sessions. Let me share a bit more about my journey and passion for photography.

A Passion Born from Family and Faith

Photography has always been a significant part of my life. As a devoted mother of five, I understand the importance of preserving life's fleeting moments. My passion for photography was deeply influenced by my love for my family and my faith. Being a follower of Jesus, I find inspiration in capturing the beauty and essence of God's creation in every photograph I take.

From Medical Lab to Photography Studio

My journey into professional photography began while balancing a career as a medical lab technician. Together with my husband, Aaron, who worked as a retail shop manager, we started Noah’s Ark Photography in 2009. Initially, it was a part-time venture, but our love for capturing moments and the positive feedback from our clients encouraged us to pursue photography full-time. By 2014, we shifted our focus primarily to boudoir photography through our separate venture, 4 Girls Glamour, which allowed us to gain control over our schedules and spend more time with our children, whom we homeschool​.

Embracing Senior Photography and More

At Noah’s Ark Photography, we believe in telling stories through images. Whether it's a senior portrait, a family session, or a branding headshot, each photograph is a testament to a moment in time. Our senior photography sessions are particularly special. We strive to create a comfortable and fun environment where students can express their unique personalities. Each session is tailored to reflect their interests and achievements, ensuring the final images are a true representation of their high school journey​ Noah's Ark Photography.

Creating Art Beyond the Camera

My role extends beyond taking photographs. I am passionate about the post-production process where the true magic happens. Editing allows me to bring out the best in each image, ensuring they resonate with the emotions of the moment. I also design custom albums and wall art, turning photographs into tangible memories that clients can cherish for a lifetime.

Building Connections Through Photography

One of the most rewarding aspects of my job is the connections I build with my clients. Photography is an intimate experience, especially genres like boudoir. It's important to me to create a trusting and relaxed atmosphere. I love getting to know my clients, understanding their stories, and capturing their true essence. Whether it's through a pre-shoot consultation or a casual chat during the session, these interactions help me create images that are not only beautiful but deeply personal​.
